Nothing "itsy bitsy" about it...

We just rolled in from a Holiday weekend.
We are full of turkey, WAY too much things that are made mostly of sugar and nights with little sleep.
But that is what the holidays are for....right???  Ha ha, sometimes I wish the list from our holiday weekends included more naps...

for them and us:)

and less temptation to stuff cookies and pumpkin favored goodness in my mouth!!  None the less, as always this time of year does make me feel truly blessed and overjoyed to be in just the season were in.  I can never say this enough, God is good!

It was C's first one and she lived it up, with coordinating accessories!
Her bow was complete with a turkey!!  Please forgive me.  I couldn't resist.

We spent the holiday in Michigan at the lake and it was really wonderful and relaxing.  It was awesome to get in down time with family and friends and espeically exciting for the boys to see, play with and wrestle cousin Coop!

We ate, played & laughed the time away.  I can't believe it's already over....SAD.

This was the best out of only a million tries. Ha ha!

Thankfully there is more to look forward to, starting with the introduction of our "Elf on the Shelf", lovingly named "Itsy Bitsy" by the family.  There were many names thrown out, but this particular one, suggested by Ryan appeased everyone, so there it is!  I have been wanting to do something like this at our house the last few years but just haven't taken the plunge.  This year, since a lot of the boys friends have Elfs at their homes and Sawyer's at least old enough to take part, it seemed like the perfect year to start in on this fun family tradition!  He came tonight and set up quite the celebration dinner, complete with a family PJ & Movie night!  What a generous little guy!  Can't wait to see all of his shananagans and fun that get brought into the mix of holiday maddness by this tiny red friend!  Love that we can inject magic and love into these sweet and innocent seasons of our kids lives.

Our elf may be Itsy Bitsy but our life and all that God has put in it is just the opposite.

How blessed we are to have Crosbi here this year.  How exciting it is to share this time of year with our 3 happy and healthy kids.  How much God has brought us thru and provided.  My heart is so full and so thankful.
