Announcement, Announcement.....ANNNNNOUCEMENT!

So we have a "little" announcement. Although in our family, that adjective has never been used to describe these!

Our family will be getting a +1 in April, and that's not an invite for a date to a wedding.
It's referring to a BABY.

Meaning our numbers this Spring are now going to look something like this:

1:
newborn baby
more car seat in our van
more sweet baby smile
more diaper to change
more teeny tiny to love and oggle over and kiss
more heart Jesus is entrusting to us

2:
new baby feet & piggies to swoon over
kiddos in diapers
tired and crazy, outnumbered parents
2 BIG boys
(too) little sleep
(too) much chaos
(too) much fun for us ALL!!

3:
our new total
the number of college tuitions we need to save for (no pressure!)
the # of pairs of shoes we need to find for feet other than our own before leaving the house
the number of laughs that are music to our ears
little bodies that could potentially end up in our bed at some point in the night
beautiful blessings to share our lives with

Ry found out from a little + pregnancy test package!
We feel a little crazy & overwhelmed & happy & whew....
but we are starting down a new road, on a new adventure with a family of 5
(God willing of coarse)!!

Our first glimsp

This baby we will lovingly call Baby C (or Dragon Car, the name Griffin has bestowed on you), because we know the babe's name...and although it feels way too official to share it outright on here we're pretty set with it, and have been since Sawyer really. And, it's the same name whether it's another little bundle of blue in there or a pink surprise, just different middle names! I mean, it has to go with Griffin & Sawyer, so it's something along those lines for sure!

To the next subject at hand:
How am I feeling? I get asked this a lot.
The answer is...not good.

This little peanut is like a tiny baby ninja.
He/She is throwing out nausea and heart burn like there is no tomorrow.
What else?
Just look in "What to expect when you are expecting?" and then know I have "expected" all of them in the last 12 weeks.
Morning sickness/dry heaving....check
heart burn....check
up to pee at night....3am baby, check
heightened sense of smell...check (and this one induces MORE dry heaving)
break outs...check!
maternity clothes starting to come out...check!
weight gain in the belly...tushie, thighs...and hey my hips don't lie either....check!
and...the number one complaint from those who live with me...
I am one MOODY little pain in the behind!
Happy to admit it! And ready for these first trimester symptoms to hopefully hit the road!

A note I found on the top of my maternity clothes addressed to myself...must have known this would be a challenge:)! Haha!

Little Baby C, we are so excited to welcome you into our family. We already love you and your little hands and feet and all of the shenanigans you are already putting into motion. Trust me, you're going to fit right in here and you are the missing piece to "US"! Bring on April, we can't wait to see the sweet face that will complete this family!

You already made the fridge!

(and also, for all the grief your throwing out now, I fully expect you'll sleep through the night at about 3 or 4 weeks, earlier if you want!!:) haha!
