Top 5 ways you know you live with a little Griffin

Here are the top 5 ways we know we live with little Griff:

#5. We never have to set our alarm because we have our own personal one, whose ring tone is a loud and very sad cry, and happens every morning between 6:45 and 7:45. (and if you know his mother, this isn't her best time of day!)

#4. There is a strange trail of soggy Cheerios that seems to show up around the house and Maci has so lovingly volunteered to help clean up. (hense the photo of him and new BFF)

#3. All of my magazines, in fact any paper product at all that is left within reaching level is now ripped and shredded into many tasty globs that may or may not still be readable.

#2. All of our clothes seem to be christened with a random clear and slimy substance that always happens to appear after holding a certain boy with stuffy nose.

and......

#1. There is currently a small boy grasping the stand of Ry's fan with one hand and waving his blankie at it with the other, talking loudly.....as if he were introducing them. #1 is the new soundtrack our life has.....all the noises of this little boy!

Hope you enjoy these random pics!!

a Valentine for G-ma Ecc:)!

Since Grandma Lori won't be able to see and sqeeze Griff this Valentines we thought we would post some pics of the little cupid. We love and miss you!!! In other February 14th news.....Happy Birthday Daddy!! We love you! (thanks to g-ma Lori for making it through a Valentines Day labor to bring us our favorite boy.......Daddy!)

These pics illustrate our favorite Griffin feature.....his raised eyebrows!

Splish, splash, I was taking a.......

Yeah, it's bath time at our house. This wet little lovey is lovin bath time more and more every time (he has now discovered what Ernie so joyfully sings about....rubber ducky!!)! This is

great news for us because the more he eats the more crusted peas we have to scrape off his head! He also has several fashionable post bath towels to entertain his parents....in this photo he is a frog, but we also have elephant and dog. Griff's favorite???? the buff:)! He always trys to sweetly steal away naked!

Nothing gonna hold me down.....

Here are other promised photos of little man doing his newest trick.....crawling and climbing. Now this may not seem so exciting to some, but when you know someone from the very beginning and see them evolve from this helpless little thing to moving on their own it is a modern day miracle......at least to the parents......and as cool as it is, it is a slight pain for the parents too. Our days are now spent chasing the little peanut and making sure he doesn't attempt anything too crazy, eat anything too small(rule #1 for Griff: all things go to the mouth), or climb Everest (the stairs.....he loves 'em)! We can't decide if the new found independece is good or not:), but that we are afraid is the glory of parenting.......we have years to go! Happy Climbing!

New Year, New House, New City, & Us

.......So here we are at the place we can finally call "home"! 2445 Geneva Lane get ready.
It's so nice to finally be some where that should be HOME for a while, although I hesitate at saying that because I have said it before and some how I still find myself with boxes and tape! God willing though, we will be here for at least a few years......and we are all content with that! We love the new house.....big enough for us with room to grow:)! We are so blessed that all the doors were opened wide enough for us to get through and make it here so we are just waiting to see what comes our way. Some of you have been asking for pics of the new house, so here they are! Work in progress, but not nearly as much as our last house.....we are finding out how nice a newer home is....real closets and clean bathrooms......a TRUE JOY! Thanks for all the love and support while we went through with this big change and COME VISIT!!
